Inspired by leisure photographs from our parent’s generation, we wanted to pay homage to an era that helped define Los Angeles. Mid-century Southern California was a time of social and developmental transformation. Imbued with post-war optimism, there was a sense that anything was possible and Los Angeles quickly became the canvas for the likes of Charles Eames and Pierre Koenig. This is our love letter to the genesis of California Cool.
